Added 2021-04-03 15:19:16 +0000 UTCFirst, here's a Large/X-Large item that I think you're going to like. This was so easy and so useful that it should have been among the very first pieces enlarged. We can already resize complex tooltips (Spells, Items, Recipes, etc.) in Options. But the plain old everyday text tooltips were getting left out. And they're all over the UI. Random fact: there are 2,662 plain old tooltips in the DarqUI distribution.
I've been working with the larger tooltips for a few days now and they offer a significant improvement in gameplay even at the 2K size. Check out the above screenshot, then download the new Extras (v3.006) package. Even if I were only using the Normal size UI, I would still download the XL Extras package if for no other reason than to get those buxom, luxurious XL tooltips.
But tooltips are not the reason for the recent torrent of updates. If you check for updates regularly, you're probably wondering what's up. As I mentioned in the April news post, I've been making some sweeping internal "spot-checks" that had to be done in layers, so that's why some version numbers have been incrementing multiple times per day. Naturally there's a reason behind all of it. I'm working on an interesting new feature that will take advantage of all the file grooming for all Darq Side members, not just the 2K/4K members. Stay tuned for that!
And for the 2K/4K players, I promise a new poll and a new round of upscales are coming shortly. Just needed to get some of those ones and zeroes straightened out, and they were maxing out my internal RAM (gray matter).
