I can't see a resolution toggle control, but the picture quality is good. At least on my 12" screen laptop.

2024-07-18 12:27:47 +0000 UTCLots of people seem to think it's poor sportsmanship - I certainly do. Jumping out of the way at the tachiai is just such an easy win and super boring for fans who want to see a proper bout of sumo. My view anyway. Some seem to think it's a perfectly acceptable way to win, but I think it sucks, especially at higher levels of Makuuchi.

2024-07-18 11:24:53 +0000 UTCI did wonder about this move, I haven’t seen it much but it seems like a good surprise strategy to use at times. Is “henka” considered poor sportsmanship in sumo?

2024-07-18 10:25:54 +0000 UTCok - thanks for the info... Not even sure what resolution Patreon is showing the videos in... can you toggle like on YT between 720p and 1080p for example? I will do my best to be louder when filming to see if that helps with the volume

2024-07-18 06:50:53 +0000 UTCok - I will try to be louder when I record so hopefully that will help

2024-07-18 06:41:34 +0000 UTCI've always had to turn volume up pretty high to watch your vids. But this basho I've had to turn it up almost to 100 to hear you well. It's probably patreon. But if you could turn your mic gain up that would probably help.

2024-07-18 02:46:30 +0000 UTCI'm also not a fan of the henka. It's anti-climactic and a let-down. I also get that it's legal and in some ways understand that it provides a bit of counter-balance to the tachi-ai knowing that a henka could be lurking out there somewhere. So it does deepen the game of chess for the tachi-ai.

2024-07-17 22:08:56 +0000 UTCYeah I think Patreon is just coded to play volume not quite as loud. I find it really more in line with other internet video players. YouTube seems to run a little louder than most. But like you said, its totally fine for me. But I am also watching with headphones. Probably not a lot Jason can really do about that for the people having troubles

2024-07-17 22:05:38 +0000 UTCSound is fine for me

2024-07-17 20:34:08 +0000 UTCJason, just on the volume question: on YouTube, my volume is set at 24. Here on Patreon, I have to increase it to 36 to sound the same. That's not 50% higher, because these are arbitrary laptop volume units rather than something scientific. It's not a big deal - just need to remember to turn it back down when going over to your daily wrap-up video. :-)

2024-07-17 20:04:41 +0000 UTCHoly cauliflower ear on Hiradoumi. Fresh injury? Never noticed it. Also BOOOOOO henka! I like the numbering system but it’s not a big deal either way to me, especially since you’re saving previous results for the YouTube video

2024-07-17 18:00:40 +0000 UTCSound is absolutely ok. And I’m for the numbering… thanks !

2024-07-17 17:41:34 +0000 UTCAh man... I really liked hiradoumi and how progressively better he was becoming. This match definitely stained him a bit for me.

2024-07-17 12:52:58 +0000 UTCSo disappointed in Hiradoumi's henka. Also, what's up with his right earlobe?
