Alex & Zoey [WIP]

Work in progress of a commission for Jacobovrick on Twitter of their two tree kangaroo characters, Alex and Zoey! This one was surprisingly tough! Tree kangaroos are interesting animals, lol. I took some extra time trying to figure out how to properly draw these guys (honestly, I should have done studies of the animal first...I'll make note of that next time) but I think in the end I got the look I wanted for em! Posing was relatively easy since the client is a 3D model artist, so the poses of these two were provided (: I drew out both poses but in the end I only ended up sending the client version A since that one appealed to me most, being animated and fun compared to the other version. Had a couple tweaks to make, which was lowering Alex's arm and leg (which I'm glad was pointed out cause I like it much more now xD ) and adding their little accessories on their tails that were added to their references very recently.

Saying all that now, the sketch wip is approved and will be moved onto the inking and colouring process soon!
