Looking Back Vicki 2010-2019

09-10 vs 19 hard to believe a decade has almost passed since I created Vicki. It's been a heck of an uphill journey thus far and a long, long ways still left to go.

There's been this thing on twitter where you share a drawing from the beginning of the decade and a current one. I kinda wanted to do one and didn't have anything else planned to celebrate the new year at all.

This image brings up some mixed feelings. On one hand I've become really attached to Vicki, we've been through thick and thin together "Pun a little intended" and I really love how her design and character has evolved over the years, and in the last 2 years or so with my art in general I've actually started to really like my art and am proud of it in a lot of ways. But on the other hand it's kind of a reminder of how much I've failed. I originally created Milkshakes with the intent of making a web comic with my bro and that never happened. I tried really, really hard but failed every time and been struggling again and again, I don't know how to describe it but I guess I feel ashamed of the fact that it's been a decade and I never succeeded.

With that being said and on a more positive note There is the VN on the horizon, even finally came up with a proper title besides Milkshakes for it but I want to reveal it in a different post
