Started as a Pathfinder character, Hanno Jatvirta is a sentinel (A type of ancestral guardian that look after sacred sealed statues in the wilds) from near the Tuulka Barrows in northern Valhaadrune.

He's still new to his role, and brash, and learning that you can't just smash head-long into every problem. When the ancestral statue he was attuned to was destroyed and the heart-stone taken from it, he began a hunt to retrieve his ancestor, and put an end to the people who perpetrated this crime.

I like the idea of a magus that uses a big, heavy war-club carved in runes. I drew a tiny bit from Finnish cultures as well as your general 'fantasy' bullshit. But I wanted to detail his early days enough that I could understand some of the basics of the man himself.

There will be more art of this guy, as he's fun to draw (and fairly easy I admit, the typical 'draw big wolf guy').
