Well... THAT escalated quickly.
Added 2023-08-27 06:26:28 +0000 UTCThis morning my house officially went up for sale. Within 2 hours there were four offers and one was for a fair bit more than asking price.
So, the agreement was signed. I've been given a generous 3 months to find another place and clear this one, with a flexible final date.
Today was a wild one. I figured I would have a couple months and maybe a trickle of people looking to buy. Even the realtor was pretty shocked at how quick it was.
I'm now going to be splitting time clearing the rest of the things I'm not taking out of the house, as well as.. well, looking for the new place. I have a bunch already researched and ready to send, but I wasn't expecting on actually looking for a place within the first week.
Dayum.
I'll definitely be a bit spotty, and will be notifying folks with commissions that work might slow down a bit as a result of all this. And here I was saying that I figured autumn would be a quiet one.
At least this year's chaos is a more happy occasion.
I'll keep folks updated, and should still have some arty things to post. I apologize for the disruptions lately. They definitely weren't planned at this frenetic pace o.o

Thanks! Hopefully there will be some more positive updates to come. I'm combing through listings to send to the realtor and then will strategize how the move is going to line up. I'm gonna need a fair bit of coffee.
