They've been together for many a year now, they've raised four kids, have a strong herd, and he still loves her with the raw adoration that he did when he first fell in love with her. To this day he still is amazed that she'll be there when he wakes up, and still has a heart big enough to love all things.
So on some summer days, when the weather is either too hot or too rainy, pet a pony.
