I haven't had chance to draw a centaur in what feels like over a decade. When I was given the subject of getting to draw a scene with a centaur character it reminded me just how much I used to enjoy drawing these people.

But it was a huge learning curve again. Two creatures having to merge at the right place used to be much easier for me to do when I used to draw them all the time :D

I picked a spot in the Aldr Vharrow, a space rife with ruins of ancient and long dead people, suffused with fey magics and deadly to traverse off of the overgrown paths. Nature is only there to watch the mortal struggle, and the dead be unstill.

The next patron sketch will be pushed back to the beginning of next month as things are still getting settled here. The good news is that the 'routine' is starting to not be such a wear and tear, and the mountains of medical jargon, forms, prescription changes, and dozens of other things are slowing to a trickle.

I'm looking to draw a few 'just for kicks' pictures for the rest of the month. Sketching around with things to see what seems good to finish, or what feels best in sketch form. Some sketches are already underway. Some, in emotion, a little autobiographical, and others just a goofy departure.

Still under lockdown, still a bit terrified, but fun days ahead I hope.
