The Depths (Patron Sketch)

I was given kind permission to share November's patron sketch. I believe this is the first under water/sea character I've ever drawn (not counting pirates or maybe a skeleton or two under the water).

As they're a new character, they're yet un-named, but I really liked the concept. It gave me a chance to escape and hide in doing linework again, which I always tend to enjoy, and I got to get some references for fish and sea environments (though I ran out of time to add a detailed environment here. Its a big part of why I like doing these patron sketches, there's a lot of interesting/new character's out there, and it keeps me on my toes :)

I'm working on the colours of Soot's picture this week, and will be painting a sqrl for the week after. The winter blah's are still here, but I'm lucky enough to get to hide out inside now and then and just add colour to things.
