Ellythistle Fenn - Smol Halloween

First, wow, lots of good feedback on the 'Price Check' post previously.  I'll be going through tonight and see which route I want to go.  I'm still struggling a bit for time, but I think doing a commission or two over the next while can be possible.

This is a bit of a personal project picture.  I'm writing up a game campaign that has Elly as an NPC and wanted to have some art of her to show.  I also wanted to finalize a look (one of many) for her.  I didn't like the horns the way I had them and decided to shorten them a bit, and give her more of a classical 'witch/wizard' look because... Um.. Halloween?  Eventually this will be coloured as well, and some of the other people that will be met will be sketched out as well.  I haven't done 'game art' in quite a while outside of a map or two.

Gnomes are also friggin' hard to draw for some reason.

I guess spook night is fast approaching.  It feels a little surreal that I'll be spending it hiding in the basement/bar area with LED pumpkins and skulls all lit up, running a haunt session of D&D, but if I can't have fun doling out candy, this isn't a bad way to go.

Thanks again, folks, for the replies.

Indeed, getting her to look small, and still part of a fey race without just looking like a child. Plus getting her to have a sense of size without having a comparison object around too, or to seem too 'bobble-head' like I've seen gnomes in other fantasy lines look. I'm starting to figure out how to draw her, but I guess it'll just take practice.

Getting the look of "small" without getting the look of "child"?
