The local's don't like strangers, it seems.

I went from weeks of not really being able to think or draw anything to bashing this out in a couple of days. I finally was afforded a break in the immensely stressful family-health events that were going on and while the health front seems okay for now, there were other things that I was taking care of that could only be described as a wild-ride.

I try not to be specific about things when it comes to my father's health, and that of family in general. I'm even pretty vague when it comes to my own health. I guess I'm just old, and I don't want much of my personal life out here on the firing-range that is the internet these days. But I can at least say that, for now, things are okay. Fingers crossed the rest of the year can just calm down, and the rest of this 'stay indoors forever' thing we have going on can at least be peaceful enough.

That said, I am woefully behind on patron sketches. I haven't actually been this late getting sketches fulfilled in years, and I think the last time was when I was suffering a bout of dreadful sinusitis that lasted a full month even with medication.

I'll be working on getting both last month's sketch fulfilled, as well as this month's. I apologize for taking so long. Some things just can't be put off. I'm a 'sole caretaker' in that regard, but I will get these done and posted.
