Sketchenings
Added 2020-02-12 00:32:20 +0000 UTCSo that flu I picked up seemed to have triggered off 'something' else. I'm still sick, and while I won't go into details on health things, I've had so many appointments with so many doctors and labs this month that I feel like I've barely been home. And its not even over yet. Hooray!
One of the escapes was just doing some sketchwork this week. Just purely random, 'let my scrambling brain babble' type stuff. I guess Hyrahyttia the kobold was on my mind, as she got a double cameo this time around, along with a Cinder-neigh, and a random wizardry student.
I did have another chance to write on the scripts for the 'Cinders' comic. Its slow going since I need help remembering some of the details (many are over 10 years ago), and some input on characters. Its a bit of a collab with a friend who these stories were written with. But it was lovely getting some of that story down in detail for the first time in over a decade.
As I wait for results and all that jazz, I'll have more down time to do sketching with. I might try some colour studies as well since I miss doing that sort of stuff. Whatever it may be, I'll be posting it here :)

I'd play the hell out of Skyrim if it had kobolds, equine people, and perhaps Turnip Terrance. :)

2020-02-16 19:42:24 +0000 UTCFeeling better, luckily. Still have some medical follow-ups, but I seem to be puttering along and not losing as many bolts as I was. And if you can, definitely write. I find it cathartic myself, and the world needs more creative things added to it :)

Since my 'work' consists primarily of being there and keeping an eye on things, I have plenty of time to read, listen to music and think. Maybe I'll even start writing again...
