13 Years in the Making! A Good Time....

My newest film is DONE! So I wanted to make a 1939 World's Fair Film dating back to 2005 after I wrapped up my 1893 World's Fair documentary.
In 2006 or 2007 our old production company picked up this stunning 16mm film reel and I started coming up with ideas. I even started to talk to a few people about on-camera interviews but then my Westinghouse documentary did poorly, I started looking at grad school, the production company spun off into its own company, and a year later Classic Game Room took over the entire thing and here we are today. Right back where it all started.
It's 2019. I wrote a book on the 1939 World's Fair and decided to finally finish the film I started back then. It's way different than what I initially envisioned, but a lot of fun and pretty interesting. My narration is better now than it was then so I narrated it and handled the editing, the footage is excellent and there's a few laughs in there too.
A good chunk of the film is about the film itself which I find intriguing, because rather than dwelling on history or "high concept" issues, the guy who shot it was in his 20s. He was there with his friends and it feels young, spirited, and modern. I took that angle with the writing and the editing. It's a very literal title.
Comes out tomorrow on digital and physical shipments start wednesday.
Next week I hope to start showing off some of the new art for Magnum Skywolf and Robot Kitten Factory. Been a crazy few weeks around here,
