Frost Giants (Game prep sketch)
Added 2019-01-17 23:17:35 +0000 UTCI've had a (very slight) bit of time recently to actually sketch some things for an upcoming D&D game I have. I don't run games often, maybe about once a month (Though maybe that's actually a lot. It doesn't feel that way), and I usually end up using downloaded art or maps opposed to anything I draw myself. Artistic ocd means I don't really do many things quickly when it comes to art, and I can't spend a lot of time on game prep.
This image is a bit of a dual-purpose image as well. I wanted to show some of the cultural things with Frost Giants in Felwroth. They aren't traditional by far, always wearing masks or made up more of the elements that they represent. Stone giants are more like they were in the hobbit films than they are in the Monster Manual.
That aside, I thought I'd share some of the more relevant sketchwork here with you all. I'm still working on getting another painting done, but it doesn't mean I can't share the odd sketch I get done with folks!
