Guard Station - Rough sketch
Added 2018-12-22 02:10:55 +0000 UTCI'm not entirely sure what possessed me to first get this image in my head just over a year ago. Its hovered around in there for quite a while and I've decided to finally try and sketch away at it.
I haven't done a 'scenery' piece in a while now. I don''t know how long its been since I did anything with a city/townscape in it. In this case its a place on the northern Agencald coast named Kivesk. Sort of a joint port town between javarran, human and dwarfish populations.
I might work on detailing this out a little more in my free time. Its a weird one that just kind of stuck with me for a long time and I needed to just get it down in some form so it wouldn't haunt me as much.
Forgive the blank looking roofs. They're covered in snow, left with less detail in case I end up painting this. I picture it during a snowfall as well, and might iterate and add more tiered buildings on the cliff-rises in the background.
Have a good lead up to Christmas, folks, no matter what anyone celebrates, I hope its a peaceful week for everyone.

I almost tossed it out but then thought of Cinders and immediately put it back. Leef must be there for a reason and so that is where Leef will stay. Hope you're doing well.
