Weather is Coming colour test

I've been going through a bit of a creative drought in the past few weeks, primarily due to a bout of 'dream based' insomnia that's ensured I only get about 4 hours or less of sleep each night.

I was wracking my head trying to come up with something to pain and admittedly pretty disheartened when I just couldn't think of a thing for days on end.

Then I realized I have a huge vault of images that I can actually paint and colour already done.  While I'm starting to recover, and hoping my creative block will fade away soon enough, I'm going to pull some past images to do a colour treatment with.

This picture is in the very rough stages.  The linework wasn't cleaned up yet and the colours are more just to get some kind of palette down to work with, and I'm looking forward to doing it as a colour illustration along with its follow up picture.

I'll be posting both as they progress for August, and hopefully should have some newer ideas in that time to work from as well.

The notice for this month's sketch went out on the 24th (check spam folders!) and the list is nearing completion, meaning I'll start over again, and folks still at the $10 tier at that time will get a sketch if they wish it.  It took a fair amount of time, but I won't complain, the support has been nothing short of humbling to be honest.

Will always try :). Getting more sleep is helping. Now if the weather could just stop trying to bake me alive. >.>

Its very appreciated! And I'll probably be drawing until they haul me off to the slippers and oatmeal factory. I can't help doodling on anything and everything, creative blocks not included :)

Very kind of you! And thank you. The creative block will certainly end and I'll be back to drawing characters chasing butterflies with nets :). Very glad you are along for the ride!

Woot! I'm glad you're finding ways to over come your art drought. Keep up the work and don't get too down on yourself.

I'll support your work for as long as you keep this going :) Just giving back a little for all the art I've enjoyed from you over the years!

Hang in there, Tim! Your work is more gorgeous than ever and you can be proud of what you're doing these days. Very glad to be here to see it. :-)
