Update on the Feepocalypse

I'm currently awake when I shouldn't be due to a freight train of a headache after the last couple days. However I wanted to get this posted as soon as I'd learned about it.

A more clear, less 'bubbly whee happy' explanation was posted to the Patreon blog explaining why they went with a new model of payments. Please take it with a grain of salt, of course, we're talking about a corporate entity here.

Please scroll down to the 'Update 3:57pm PST' part of the post. This wasn't emailed out to me or anything, I happened to stumble across it from a third party who let me know others know about it.

I personally wish they had been more clear about this from the beginning, and didn't treat creators like children. When people's finances are fiddled with, they need a clear, adult, full explanation as to why a thing is changing for good or ill. I'm going to be sure to leave that feedback when I've had more rest and can coherently focus without feeling like my brain is leaking out of my ears.

I'm only posting the update here for you all to keep you informed. I promised I'd make sure everyone had the most up to date info since Patreon isn't great at actually letting patrons and creators know what is going on.

It does, however, seem the push back about this got them to snap out of whatever haze they were in and realize that this type of ham-fisted approach to a feature launch is a rather disastrous way to do it.

I want to thank all of you who stayed, and even those few who may have or may leave despite the 'explanation' that was given. I'll still be posting artwork at regular intervals, hopefully as I'm feeling a bit healthier. The last couple days were a trainwreck. :/
