Discerning Eye (roughs) - July 29th.

I was given kind permission by this month's sketch patron MountainGoat to share the roughs (and later, final inks) of his sketch here with you all.

I don't proclaim to be incredibly adept at drawing technology and sci-fi, but I do love learning about characters in those universes and brushing up on my robot drawing!

The character in question is Enkeli, a ship-born engineer (and technical wizard, as she created the little umbrella-bot that follows her around). I loved the idea of having her wandering along a market on some dark corner of a crowded world. I imagine her as being discerning when it comes to parts she can use, and who couldn't trust a salesman with a no refunds policy?

Many thanks for letting me post this here. I look forward to obsessively detailing the daylights out of this and sharing :)
