Added 2016-11-18 02:22:33 +0000 UTCAfter a few days of almost non-stop work, I've managed to not only get the previously lost image done in flat colours, but even got the basic lighting blocked away on it. I'm technically now slightly ahead of where I was. Hopefully I'll be able to get this finished within a reasonable time frame. Barring any other wierd sudden problems it'll definitely be done within the month.
..But after two days awake, I think its time to faceplant. I think the above image is now burned into my retinas.

2016-11-18 17:39:52 +0000 UTCYep! But the problem that comes up is that the 300dpi versions posted here are just flat image without any working layers. I tend to save mine in Clip Studio raw format that keeps everything from layers to rulers intact (I have about 50 layers currently on this image and its only half-finished). I contemplated just using the 300dpi png since it's fairly lossless (its the 24 bit version) but doing atmospheric effects and texturing would have been a nightmare as I'd be painting right over linework and everything. It ended up easier to just power through and re-do the image from the linework.
