WIP - Encounters in Frost
Added 2015-02-08 00:52:02 +0000 UTCA very quick and rough mock-up of a trader encountering a Frost Giant out in some desolate area between the warmth of civilization. Giants of Felwroth are tied to the world itself, representing primordial mortals of the elements themselves. They wear masked helms and tend to not interact with the smaller mortals of the world unless directly provoked. It's still a pretty stunning and fearful sight when one gets close enough to view a giant, though. I'm hoping to slate this to be painted in the coming month, if the schedule works out.

Much of it is still in the 'fog' as it were. Many sages have tried to study them, only to be met with silence from the monoliths when asked about the masks, or if they indeed had faces under them. It's rumoured that perhaps they are much like the stone giants, with no visible face under the mask, still other's believe that they are cursed, with masks that cannot be removed. To date, none have been seen without, and their grave-sites haven't been unearthed. One more of the 'unfolding stories' of the world :)
