Today's update ...

You thought yesterday's update was boring, then whew boy, buckle in, because have I got something eye-wateringly dull for you today! 

What is it, and why am I posting it then, I hear you ask. Well, simply for the sake of transparency and accountability. When I get some time to set up the Discord properly, I'm planning to have a channel that's simply dedicated to my Github 'commits' - which are just the small incremental updates I'm making on this game. For my own sake, this kind of version control is awesome; if i ever run into some weird game-breaking issue, I can roll back to the last working version to try and identify and weed it out. But the commit log itself acts as a nice way of charting my progress - something I'm commited (see what i did there) to sharing with you all, to show you exactly where your hard-earned cash is going! 

I know I shouldn't take random comments on message boards to heart too much, but one thing that really gets to me is this occasional insinuation that I'm simply 'fiddling with the interface' or just tweaking a few things here and there, when honestly I'm working flat-out, which you can hopefully get a sense of from the following?!

So with all that said, here's the full list of my commits so far - covering Versions 0.5.1, right up until about 10am this morning, when I had to swich gears and get some 'real' (read: boring/paid/nothing to do with Girl Games) work done ... 

And I won't judge, if you don't make it to the end! It's not exactly edifying reading. But it might give you a sense how far things of come and where i'm at in on closing in on 0.5.2 ... Something I dearly want to try and get done before the end of this month, even if it shaves a year or two off my life.
