Monthly Update ...

I'm gonna keep this post pretty short and to the point, but I thought I'd better fill you in on the latest developments! As some of you may have noticed, this montly status update is coming much later in the month than usual, and I have to admit, that was in part because I've been working like a banshee and I was seriously hoping to announce that I have a playable version ready to go ...

But I'm afraid that's still a little ways off. I've got everything hooked up and in place structurally - at least for the 'Heather' plotline - but I still have a little more writing and a few images and whatnot left to implement, and the last week I've been sidetracked by getting a goddamn save/load system up and running too. It's almost there, but my god it's a headache! There's no cookie cutter version I can just drop in or copy from somewhere - like my wardrobe system a while back, I'm having to write it all from scratch, which is kinda fun (at least in a maschocistic way!). But I'm almost there with that too, fingers crossed.

So yeah, billing is paused for another month (what a surprise). But I'm hoping next month is it, at least in a super basic Alpha capacity. I'll probably only share that version with you - as in, it won't go public - most likely because it will be filled with bugs and whatnot, but as always I'm still super excited to share it with you very soon! 

In the meantime, I'm not sure how many of you follow my 'regular' writing work, but I put out a super huge (and super cheap) mega-bundle of my ebooks recently - mostly to keep me afloat financially while I get this goddamn game finished! Seriously this thing is a bargain: fifty ebooks for just over five dollars!
