Hi p-crew!
Happy weekend :) This was by far one of the scariest moments we had on the trip.. and it was incredibly lucky that John saved the day with his quick thinking! We would have been in ALL SORTS of strife if he didn't think quick.. Our trip would have been OVER!
Ohhh, and on this episode the Jeanneau 55, also gets a name!!!! A name that also causes us a lot of grief along the way haha.
In our next episode, we'll sail 3 days to Bonifacio - which is one of the most BEAUTIFUL towns (I'd never heard of it before!!)
I'm going to have to start getting these episodes out faster now, and not spend as much time editing them like the 'perfectionist' I am (by the way, I'm only a perfectionist when it comes to my work, not many other aspects of my life haha!)!!!! FYI, I am only half way through the series, and I'd REALLY like to get closer to 'real time'
John and I also filmed a travel episode in Baku, and also documented our INCREDIBLE hiking trip in New Zealand! So, I think over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to edit as fast as I can, and let the scenes play out :) I think some people may find the new format refreshing..
However, I say this - now. When I started editing, I might not be able to help myself haha!!!! So.. wish me luck. I'm REALLY excited to share these episodes with you, as SOON as I edit them! Keep a look out over the coming weeks prior to Christmas for more 'content' than usual.
BTW, how is everyone this week?
I spent last week in country Victoria (Bright) editing in the serene valley while staying with John's grandparents (97 and 89 years old) who so desperately wanted to go back to their home! We relocated them to Adelaide to live at John's mum house (so they had support there) and so they don't get to go back to their 'castle' very often. So it was nice to be able to be there to support them, comfort them, and make sure they settled in okay.
I'm now back in Adelaide, editing and making some future plans with John, so watch this space!
Also, I'm SO PUMPED to announce - we're going to host a Christmas Party with y'all!!! Let's book in the following times for the celebrations and live update & chat!
Adelaide: Tuesday 19th 9:30 am
New York: Mon 18th 6:00 pm
London: Mon 18th 11:00 pm
Do these global times suit everybody? Let me know and we can tweak otherwise! If you can't make it, I'll record it and upload it so no one misses out!
Lots of love, Kristina
