I resubbed to patreon specifically for this episode because Starlight Express was my childhood. My Grandma took me to it in Vegas multiple times as a teenager, and I wasnt surprised at all that I still have all the songs still memorized. But let me tell you that I learned let out an audible "YES" and pumped my first in the air when you mentioned EFX, because I hold that show in the same place in my heart, and honestly didn't think I would ever even find another person who had HEARD of it. I still remember all the songs from it too, and while I don't remember the specifics of the plot, I do remember that it has Merlin, HG Wells time machine and Harry Houdini's wife holding a seance so he can sing her a love song from beyond the grave.

2022-10-09 19:42:11 +0000 UTCSaw Starlight in Vegas at the Hilton back in the 90s when I was a teen. Couldn't have given you even the faintest of an idea what the plot was... but I remember it just being a dope skating exhibition. X-Games with costumes.
