The character appearances are indeed on tiers and actually Mickey & Friends are kind of on the lower tier end, I think precisely because they have a lot of options for dressing them and who can play them. Face characters like princesses were definitely more money. I do know people out there got Flynn & Rapunzel for example, but it was a much higher charge. If you have a special request, like a rare character or a specific costumes of the mascot characters, the language was that you can "make a wish" and they'll try their best. This is something like if you wanted Kingdom Hearts Donald (one couple did get this!). The other funny thing is that you can only have Disney music playing during the character visit. It was indeed super cute though and Donald Duck was very sweet to the couple and all of us in the wedding!
