2023-05-05 03:48:09 +0000 UTCAs stupid as the driver's actions were, I must say, it's very rare to find people nowadays who are willing to admit and take responsibilities for their mistakes. This guy was practically begging the cops to let his friend go and clearly stating that it was all his fault and that his friend didn't do anything. Plus, he was also very respectful to the cops after he was caught and didn't try to fight at all. So I'd give him props in certain aspects. Probably not even a bad guy at all. Just a young man making very stupid decisions. I just hope he learned a lesson.

The passenger was up front and honest with everything and seemingly was complying. Yet the officer used profanity and yelled at him repeatedly and was dismissive. With the driver he was polite and even came across as understanding. Maybe I’m reading it wrong. At least no one was injured by the suspect driving erratically to escape.
