She hasn't seen the show, she doesn't know we're supposed to sympathise with Tory now - and she has no reason to. From her perspective, Tory is just the psycho bitch who invaded her home and assaulted her with a weapon, and now all of a sudden it's looking like her own parents aren't willing to protect her from her. If the worst thing she does in retaliation is to just warn Tory to back off, that isn't exactly horribly out of line, all things considered.
