Hey there, Nintendo Force fans!
Well, it's been a mostly silent September, hasn't it? Both here on the NF Patreon page and from Nintendo, too. Many expected that the Big N would have held the big reveal for the new NX by now, but with only a single day left in this calendar month, it's looking like predictions of a September unveiling aren't going to come true.
It's had us treading water – locked in a holding pattern for a little while, as you know we'll be cranking out big blowouts on the NX once the company decides it's finally time to pull back that curtain. Luckily, our next issue, #24, is primarily focused on the new Pokémon Sun and Moon – and for as quiet as Nintendo's been about NX, The Pokémon Company has been shouting about their new pair of monster-catching sequels from the mountaintops for months on end now!
We've been working tirelessly on assembling the best Pokémon-focused issue of any magazine in the history of time, and it's coming along wonderfully. Inside you'll find the biggest preview feature we've ever done, shining all kinds of spotlights on all the ways the Pokémon series is breaking from tradition with these two new installments. We're supporting that Sun and Moon coverage with other Poké-appropriate content too, like a spread on the super-successful Pokémon Uranium fan game and an exclusive interview with Joe "Serebii" Merrick, the webmaster of Serebii.net (which has been online for 17 years now!).
We'll share more about our next issue soon, as we're planning to kick off an all-new giveaway in just a few more days – lining up with the next release of new Sun and Moon information on October 4th. So please look forward to that!
In the meanwhile, though, I want to remind you all about our regular giveaway, The Player's Poll! Our most recent winner was announced on Page 7 of Issue #23, and he's scored a free copy of Paper Mario: Color Splash. It's . . .
Ryan Prorok!
Congratulations once again, Ryan! Your copy of Color Splash will show up at your door on the game's release date, so keep an eye out for it.
If you want to be a Player's Poll winner just like Ryan, check out the new set of questions here:
====================
1. Alola Forms have been revealed! Which older Pokémon do you think should get new forms with new types and designs in Pokémon Sun and Moon?
2. How about all-new Pokémon? Which animals, fairy tale creatures or even inanimate objects do you think should inspire a brand-new Pokémon creature?
3. Finally, which new 'mon or Alola Form that has already been revealed for Sun and Moon is your favorite so far? Tell us why that is!
====================
You can send in your answers via email to PlayersPoll@NFMagazine.com with the subject line "Player's Poll for Issue #23" – or, even more conveniently, you can also type your answers into the comments box attached to this very Patreon post. Either way works, and you might just see your responses show up in the Inbox section in our next issue!
Thanks for your support as always, NF faithful, and sorry once again that September has been so silent overall. Here's hoping we're just in the calm before the storm, and that Nintendo's official reveal of the NX will sweep us all up into a frenzy very, very soon.
