Oda basically teaching us that you never know what someone is going through.....

The goat among goats.
I feel like there's also some message behind Russian liking the rain, it causing the mudslide accident and the fact that it wasn't actually raining during Senor's fight with Franky (even though Senor was saying so). Maybe that was a nod to the FMA:B Roy Mustang scene "A terrible day for rain"? who knows?

I would love to see Señor Pink and Franky meeting up again. Just sitting at a bar having drinks, talking about Russian and Gimlet. I will literally cry if I see that happening 😭.

The real question here is : What come first, Senor Chara design or his backstory ?
With the insight that the backstory was suppose to be SBS, I really wonder what came to his mind first.

Oda is way too good at making us cry and not afraid to use this ability

So Senor Pink's back story was originally just going to be an SBS blurb, but Oda's editor literally cried reading it and begged him to draw it. So technically it's him you need to throw hands with lol.

Man, Senor Pinks backstory always fucks me up, damn you ODAAAAAAAAA
Edit: It took only half of two episodes to tell his whole backstory and it just hurts every time I see it. It reminds me of those Korean youtube short stories you'd watch that are only 5 minutes long but they tell you an entire story that just gets you bawling.
