Law's full name always amazes me with how much real world historical and pop culture impact one genius author can toss into a single name. I would really encourage you to look up "Easter eggs in laws name" there are quite a few :) none of these easter eggs are spoilers.

2026-02-15 18:55:04 +0000 UTCAn interesting anime change here is that they add the scene of Homing just walking around telling people he was a Celestial Dragon whereas in the manga its because of the scene where Doflamingo goes around trying to make people his slaves and getting mad about them walking in front of him. So its a pretty wild departure from the manga, I guess they wanted to make Doflamingo look better for some reason? Or maybe it was too much to have a kid responsible for the events. Like yeah Homing was naive in the first place for leaving Mariejois but at least he wasn't naive enough to walk around telling people he was one (in the manga at least).

Everywhere the CD’s were taken to, they were greeted with praise, excitement, joy, etc. They were given monetary tributes even from poverish countries, which I still don’t understand. CD’s already get what they want, why do they need money? So with the WG/Marines keeping the CD’s in the dark about how the people truly feel about them, it’s no wonder Homing thought that living a “humble” life would be a good idea. Humble to him is living in a mansion and still being wealthy by the way lol.

Seriously love the dynamic of Doffy's backstory as well with his "family" and his blood related family; those who are devoted to him and Rosinante to humanity yet bound all the same.
