Patreon Update // I've been MIA

First of all, I'm sorry! I went totally off grid for a moment there, but I guess that's travelling, right? I don't pre-schedule posts on my social media platforms, I like to write & post whatever I'm feeling in the moment, but that also means you don't hear from me when I go trekking deep into the Laos jungle.

I've spent the past 3 days in the world's highest treehouse, technology free & hot water free 🥶 but how can you complain when you've got a jungle view!

There was a group of 8 people on the trip, and one of my favourite quotes is 'strangers are simply friends and haven't met yet', and that's just what they were!

I met a girl named Tash. We found ourselves in deep conversation about mental health after she commented on my mushroom t-shirt and struck up a chat about magic mushrooms.

I was honest about my struggles, and she spoke about hers. I told her that I had suffered from drug induced psychosis and it has changed the way I see the world and how I continue to interact. She stopped me and said, 'I don't think it's psychosis... have you heard of DP?'

I told her that I had never heard of this before, but everything she explained just fit perfectly as if it were a puzzle waiting to be solved.

Who knows if this is my diagnosis or if it's something else entirely, but what I know for sure is that I need an answer, however long that will take me.
