Feb. 2025 DTNS Update

Hey folks,

We made it through January. WHEW! Thanks to all the folks who sent us their thoughts on the new show formats and other changes. We’re doing our best to make the best shows for the most people that help y’all understand. I’ve been keeping folks updated on the Editor’s Desk so if you haven’t listened to that please do. 

Meanwhile, here are a few thoughts. 

I know a lot of you are trying to figure out which shows to listen to in what order etc. 

As I have been telling anyone who will listen, Patreon is working on a way to let you choose which shows go into your feed. I’ve asked if they have a timeline and they have not given me an answer. But hopefully sooner rather than later. 

In the meantime, we have started putting DTNS and DTH in the front of the titles on Patreon to help you identify them and filter them better. There’s a quirk to Briefing I have to figure out but we’ll do something there too. 

Also, there’s always the option of getting just one feed instead of the Patreon. You can find those options at dailytechnewsshow.com/subscribe

Another question I get is what the difference is between the three shows. One difference is length. Headlines is 5 minutes, Briefing is 30 and Live is 60. The other is personality. Headlines is focused on the facts, Live is full of personality and Briefing is somewhere in between.

I hit on this as a way to explain it.
