Jan 2025 DTNS Update

MONTHLY DTNS UPDATE

Hey folks,

Here it comes. 2025! We have a lot of cool new things for you starting this month.

Obviously, the first one is CES which technically kicks off next Tuesday but we’ll be hitting the ground Sunday for CES Unveiled. Keep an eye on our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube for some possible early impressions. And then Monday, Jan. 6 is the first of our three shows from the show floor in the Central Hall. It’s Tom, Robb and Amos from Las Vegas and Sarah, Roger and Joe on the home front. 

For the week of CES we’ll be doing a briefing in the morning (separate from Headlines) that will go out to everybody and then a Live show in the afternoon that will stream on our YouTube and Twitch, and also go out to everyone after the fact. The briefing will cover the newsy stuff. What announcements are made that are worth your attention. The Live will be more discussion. Talking about what we’ve seen and what impressed us. 

THEN

Starting Jan. 13 that CES briefing becomes DTNS! Every day two of us (Me, Jason Howell and more) will tag team on the important stories of the day giving you context and analysis and occasional follow-ups via explainer segments and interviews. The DTNS you are used to will still be there as DTNS Live. That will be where our discussions live and where we can be free of time constraints as much. 

This will end up with us delivering

Daily Tech Headlines- Just the facts in around 5 minutes every day Audio only. 

DTNS Briefing - Less than 30 minutes every day, audio only. 

DTNS Live - more than 40-60 minutes every day, video live stream and audio podcast. 

As a Patron you get access to them all! And soon Patreon will launch the ability for you to choose which one of them you want in your feeds. 

It’s a HUGE addition for us and I hope you love it as much as we’re going to love creating it for you.
