New Things for 2025!

tl;dr: New show coming in 2025 and you'll get it in the Patreon feed. Read on if you want to know more.

I mentioned this in this week's editor's desk episode but Daily Tech News Show is growing. Starting January 13th we're bringing you the Daily Tech News Show Briefing. It will be a focused 20-30 minutes analyzing and explaining the news of the day. Monday-Friday you'll get the briefing from Tom Merritt, Jason Howell, Robb Dunewood, Huyen Tue Dao, and Jenn Cutter.

DTNS as it currently exists will still be there for you, discussing the news of the day with the people you like hanging out with, Sarah Lane, Robb Dunewood, Roger Chang, Tom Merritt, Justin, Scott, and more! DTNS will lean more into its live and video aspects but still be available as audio.

And of course, Daily Tech Headlines is still there when you just need the facts about what happened in 5 minutes from Robb Dunewood and Sarah Lane.

If you are a Patron you will get all of these. As part of your support of what we do, we'll give you it all, ad-free, in your own personal RSS feed. Patreon says that support for multiple feeds is coming in the new year, so at some point you'll be able to separate the shows if you want!

Until then, there are a few other options.

Daily Tech Headlines will be available free with ads (just like now) or ad-free through Substack.

Daily Tech News Show - The Briefing, will be available on the existing free with Ads DTNS feed and without ads on Substack through the Daily Tech Newsletter.

And DTNS Live will be available in a free-with-ads audio feed and without ads from its own Substack feed.

I'm a Patron, what do I need to do?

Nothing. If you're already a patron, you don't need to do anything. You'll get it all.

You're Switching to Substack?

No. Substack is just for people who don't want to be a patron and want one show ad-free.

When is the support for multiple feeds coming? Because I'd really like to have separate feeds for each of these shows.

I don't know. But Patreon says "in the new year," so hopefully, really soon! And I asked if we could be in the beta test, so fingers crossed.
