Hi Tom. You may have checked this already regarding the chargers but if the iPhone is getting less power than it expects it will not indicate that it is charging but will still trickle charge. I have a battery pack designed for solar charging that does not put out the normal 5W but it still charges my phone. It just takes longer. Not sure if that is the issue but you might try it for 10 minutes and see if the phone does charge. Love the bonus ED on the road. Have fun and Marry Christmas.
