Steve staying back in time is part of main timeline. He was supposed to do it. Thats why he is a pallbearer at peggys funeral as old steve and young steve. If steve would have stayed in past and changed history by stopping 9/11 or trying to find bucky before it was time the TVA would have got involved. Steve and peggy had kids so at least one of them should be like steve. That might happen later when we get young avengers. But this loki show opens up something by the end that goes into dr strange. Dont want to spoil this for anyone. Great reaction.
