Conversions, camera gear, and 3D prints!

If you've been watching my recent vlog series, you'll know that I was working on a pie slice shaped plinth for an upcoming tag team display diorama that I'll be doing with Sam, Vince, and Jon. I was finally able to get the right hole size and now I can proceed printing out the other 3!
On the side, I've been working on a conversion for a collaboration with Jazza and Emil (a video one this time). The idea for the collaboration is inspired by musical chairs in a way. I convert a model and send it to Emil. Meanwhile, Emil converts a model and sends it to Jazza and Jazza sends me a model he converted. When all the conversions are done, then we paint the miniatures and do a similar swap one last time for base creation. Of course, I'm converting up a vampire for someone to paint and this is where I'm at.
I have a night haunt steed, the waist of a black knight, and the legs of a dark elf dark rider. I've had to do some basic clippin' and snippin' and some green stuff work but I think this is going well so far. Aside from that, you may have also seen that I got some new camera gear in the mail in the vlog. Well, I set it all up and here's what it looks like.
Essentially, now I have a baseball hat brim to cover my lens so I get less lens flare/bloom. Last but not least, here's a picture of my Legion of Blood army so far :)
I don't know about you, but whenever I finish a unit I always get out the whole army so I can see them all together. Makes me happy! That's it for this Wednesday. What have you guys been working on?

Iβm currently researching for the purchase of my first airbrush. Tax season was kind to me and Iβm taking the plunge. Iβm excited to experiment with it and push myself even further in painting.
