This amputation thing has been extremely off-putting to me though, because it's a huge trigger for me. I'd still play Day 4, but I'd significantly rather know that he's at least not considering mutilation to his object of desire. For me, it's more the psychological horror that I find so fascinating. Sorry for the long execution of my thoughts :)

It's a theory guess based on the images displayed and how many people discussed Peter removing YN limbs, and since it was drawn quite a bit, I just read what I picked up from other fans who may have also thought the same thing. 2023-02-24 20:35:50 +0000 UTCMy Guess. You may have 3 ways of trying to escape YB, The Van, Running through the Forest, Killing Peter. The Van may be the best optional Get away vehicle to escape YB but you need to find the Key which YB hid somewhere and you need to find it while avoiding suspicion and stay on his good side. Otherwise you may as well risk running into the woods which may be foolish since you would have no idea where your going and possibly trip or step on a bear trap which he would catch up and knock you out with a shovel then you’ll wake up missing a limb. Killing him may be the abuse route since you yourself may be able to boss YB around into pulling his own tooth out alongside other twisted ways for him to please you, all the way down to dismember him to make him immobilized and leave him to die alone but that may happen in C5. The basement I would imagine would be too dark to go down there so you would need to find some sort of lighter/flashlight to see what’s down there. If you’re looking for the key I’d imagine it would be somewhere down there but It could lead to something so horrifying and if your not quick YB jump scares you in the dark and knocks you out. The Van image (depending on your actions) YN would find the bodies of one of two remaining friends you’ve gotten too close to. You will spot a Closed Van door with blood leaking out of it, you have the option of Opening it out of Curiosity or Ignoring it. Opening it would reveal the corpse of your 2nd friend killed. Now that I think about it, if that’s the case he would’ve had another body in the Van with you and you wouldn’t know since it would be block from sight and sense. The Blood in the bathroom is WAY to much to consider it’s all yours or else you may as well die of blood loss. But.. Maybe… you weren’t alone in the tub..

Maybe it's Y/N's blood, and you only see it if Y/N fights Peter. The bathroom is labelled "bathroom bloody night". This suggests the bathroom will also be seen without the blood, and during the day. Presumably the bloody bathroom scene at night is after things have gone very, very wrong for Y/N. "Stairs" and "YB teeth scene" are self-explanatory. The fact that "stairs" has no qualifier makes me think that Y/N will be going down into that basement(?) no matter what they do.

Perhaps an overview of the team’s current plans or progress? Just so the majority can review and still be informed and interested in their investment of the game. I’m sorry to say, but spoilers might not be enough. It certainly is appreciated and does tell us that progress is being made, but it might also discourage fans if information of development is too vague. Take this as you will, I certainly don’t mean any ill will for it. But I do believe that it’s an important aspect that not many people bring up (or perhaps just don’t have the exact wording to describe this)
