CRYPTID WHAT?

Cryptid Safari is something of a pet-project of mine for nearly a decade now, so with this weekly Wednesday comic self-deal, I think this is a good time to shake it a little. Two endangered species unite with other endangered species and attempt preservation, so long as nobody's... hostile. Keaton and Jackson are the stars of the show, and they began a documentary-style show about cryptids and oddities. Each issue will have it's own cryptid to focus on, and new setting, colors, symbols, underlying philosophical thing for the geeks, etc. Quality varies depending on who's directing...

WHO IN THE HECK ARE THEY?

The one on the left is Keaton, the one on the right is Jackson. They're a pair of overzealous explorers on the search for the rarest most endangered species to try and understand them and potentially keep them preserved. Jackson's from the black parts of outer space, and Keaton's from the Embertown Zoo. Keaton's the uttermost authority on plants, animals and microorganisms, and usually has a stern to-do list for months ahead. Though he tends to flop on other aspects of life such as changing tires or remembering to clean filters. Jackson's not much better, having minimal knowledge of this planet, and typically doing things in the exact wrong way. Jackson, however, can find any way to befriend an intelligent life form. So, are they genius nerds, or bumbling stooges?... Yes.
