Small announcement post

This is coming out together with a new chapter. Go read that first if you haven't already.

No need to panic, I bring no catastrophic news. I had a double exam Monday Tuesday and was a bit checked out mentally after that - leading to a bit longer delay between chapters - but I am feeling much better again. One last exam next week and then I am done for this semester.

Alright so, Hope book 3 is finished now. That is the main reason for this post, really. I did not want to write a long AN for the chapter itself. It just is a good natural break with the gang leaving for the North that arrives at the time the chapter count about matches book 2.

I have promised that the interludes I do will be a bit different this time around. The first is coming tomorrow, as I have it ready to edit. The rest are still cooking, though I expect 3 in total, then it will be onward to book 4.

Speaking of book 4, you might have picked up that the North is going to be a vast and diverse place. That means that there is a lot of space there. A lot of places new ideas could fit in. While I have some major story developments figured out, I intend to have many smaller adventures along the way. I decided that perhaps you, as readers, might have some things you may want me to explore. Now, I am not gonna promise anything, but feel encouraged to leave ideas as to what you would like me to explore either here in comments or in the discord. I am an obsessive world builder so putting various scenarios into the setting and then figuring out what would happen is fun to me. This may be the last chance for me to incorporate that as well, since my plans for book 5 and further are much tighter.

As for the schedule, I have been floating around that I want to increase my upload speed again. Since just casual commitment has been insufficient. What I know is that putting it into the context of more of a challenge and a concrete commitment will often do me some good. Therefore, starting from the First of July, I am promising a new chapter every 3 days until the end of the month. Let's see how that pans out.
