2024-08-20 11:09:08 +0000 UTCI’m sure it’s been said and yall already know but fun fact on this movie is that The story was originally going to be the concept for an episode of The X-Files, which was inspired by Sole Survivor. In this movie, a woman who was the sole survivor of a plane crash starts to be haunted by dead people that Death uses temporarily as vessels trying to kill her to correct its plan, and killing everyone who suspect about it. A Much of the news footage shown is actual footage from the July 1996 explosion and crash of TWA Flight 800 off East Moriches, Long Island, New York. Not only does this film borrow footage of the crash of TWA Flight 800, it borrows other things as well. The July 17th, 1996 flight was carrying a high school French club, it exploded suddenly and was investigated for a possible deliberate act causing the accident - first a bomb, then a surface to air missile. As with this film, it was ultimately decided that the crash was a result of mechanical failure (explosion in the central fuel tank).

2024-08-18 17:58:11 +0000 UTCThis is about Deadpool and Wolverine, it's truly sad but I think important fact. The end of the movie says it is dedicated to Henry Delaney. Rob Delaney's son, he actor who plays Peter. Henry passed away at the age of 2 back in 2018, the same year Deadpool 2 came out. Rob and Ryan became friend while shooting Deadpool 2 and Ryan did help Rob and his family as best he could thru that time. It's incredibly sad but I do think good to know.

It is simply that he didn't ignore one of those 'signs' that is usually ignored as just a weird coincidence or a trick of the mind. In this universe, having a dream about something you are about to do, or having deja-vu, or seeing something for a split second out of the corner of your eye, only for it to be gone the next moment, can be a sign. After the first one, he is just so focused on it, that he pays attention to everything that could be a sign, and is not just ignoring it, or brushing it off, like people usually do.

Strong in body, weak in mind and the helmet protects him from psychic attacks. Really gotta watch the original 90s xmen series. If you can watch a hundred plus eps of buffy, 76 is a sinch

They really do go hard mocking the name Todd and anyone named Todd in this. 🫢 It’s the oddest thing though🤨…but despite never being made fun of for the name Todd…🤔I think I’ll be able to easily laugh at it and not be bothered by being mocked for a name.🤔 I have NO idea why? 🤷♂️ Just a…gut feeling I guess that I’ll have a sense of humor and easily laugh about it/with it. 🤔😏 It’s the weirdest thing.😏 I can’t imagine where that comes from? 🤭 Seriously though, that was a fun reaction(I don’t believe there’s a longer version of Todd. I’ve used “Toddarr in some fantasy games before, but that’s for fun. It’s not like Tom and Thomas or Dick and Richard…no idea how someone got “Dick” from Richard Once upon a time, but that’s not important.🤷♂️ Todd is just…Todd. Scottish for “Fox” I believe). I’m glad I had the right version of the movie synced up. There’s SO many different cuts of the movie. Even if you don’t count “Once upon a Deadpool” (the pg-13 cut with all the extra footage with Fred Savage doing a riff on his “Princess Bride” character scenes, all for a rerelease in theatres when the studio hoped anyone under 17 would want to pay to see if they were fans unable to sneak into an R rated showing or convince/trick their parents to let them watch at home), I think there’s 3 different R rated cuts with cuts scenes added back and different jokes in a lot of scenes. I’ve seen the longer directors cut, but there’s another more recent cut apparently with jokes added referencing the Deadpool & Wolverine movie among other things(haven’t seen so don’t know how much they added/changed). I suppose if any of the missing couch wanna watch before they do the inevitable Deadpool & Wolverine reaction, a lot of us would likely get a kick out of watching one of the other cuts(even the pg-13 one looks funny for a rewatch). That was a great pick me up though. Comedy reactions really make watching a comedy even funnier(there’s a reason they used to put laugh tracks on tv comedies after all. But real laughs are a million times better obviously), and it always puts me in a great mood. Enjoy the weekend all. 😁👍

So in the scene where Clear tells Alex about her parents in the original cut they had sex, and then later on in the movie Clear saw that she was pregnant. Then at the end of the movie after Alex saves Clear, he actually dies and we see him burn to death, then it cuts to 9 months later and Clear gives birth to Alex’s son. It then ended with both her and Carter cheating death and surviving. Test audiences hated this version because the pregnancy made the rest of the film too predictable, and they also hated that Carter lived so they cut out the pregnancy and sex scenes, and filmed the Paris ending.
