#SundayRundown Bleach: Tosen's body exploding is not to be forgotten, there is a significance to it. Unfortunately I can't share anymore than that until you guys finish Bleach, including the TYBW arc (which is still ongoing). Fun fact, the name "Gin" means the color silver. Hence the color of his hair being silver/grey.

2024-08-02 02:23:43 +0000 UTCLate to the party and not checking if it's in the comments already (and I don't think the show specifies it again), but something I noticed you might have missed or forgotten (even when they first brought it up in the Soul Society arc) is that the condition for Aizen's hypnosis is to SEE the moment of his shikai release. Thus Tosen has NEVER actually been under it's influence so Aizen probably can't afford to have Tosen specifically get healed and turn against him. For you guys that also gets overshadowed by how he killed Halibel, showing that he just offs people but he had a reason for Tosen. Also I think it's inaccurate to say "hatred" fueled Ichigo's win over Ulquiorra. Rather than being mad at Ulquiorra what triggered his change was Orihime crying for him and I think that points more to extreme devotion/duty like Aizen was saying. Lastly I loved that Shuhei got that dub and the way he did it!
