Maybe it's a generational thing, growing up I don't recall being seriously attracted to any cartoon characters except Jessica Rabbit; that said one of my earliest memories revolves around an episode of Dino-Riders (so obscure I don't think FH mentioned it once) where one of the heroes was stuck with the main frog-man bad guy and she had to nurse him back to health after an injury that definitely made an impression and could potentially have gone in a furry direction.
