For sure; the Moomin novels are some of the finest 'kids lit' ever written - if you like your whimsy with a generous serving of genuine existential rumination, run don't walk. My fav book actually has the supporting cast meeting at the main characters' house when they're away on vacation, reflecting on identity and meaning while waiting for their return; it's like Waiting for Godot as an afterschool special, or the last 2 Evangelion episodes turned into a Nickelodeon show.

It’s a low budget Irish martial arts movie the bruised guy in the clip made because he heard film producers were looking to make something with him. He loves JCVD (and ended up acting with him years later in actual direct to video stuff) so it’s like an Irish version of his movies and also kind of the Irish Reacher??? It’s on YouTube in full, the main bad guy is played by a local lawyer whose stipulation for giving them some funding for it was that he got to be in the movie, iirc.
