Chapter 47 Bath time

After they cultivate for some time. The sun had gone down and both him and Xia Qingyue went back to his room together.


"Let's take a bath. Even though we cultivators don't sweat like ordinary people, it's still refreshing to cleanse ourselves." 


Yang Chen suggested with a smile. Xia Qingyue nodded in agreement, appreciating the idea of rejuvenating their bodies after a long day of cultivation.


The servants already prepare a hot bath for them. Yang Chen wanted Xia Qingyue to take the bath first but.


"We should take a bath together so the water wouldn't get cold."


Xia Qingyue said with a straight face but he could see that she was blushing. She was very beautiful and cute at the same time.


"I will rub your back for you, my husband."


Xia Qingyue took the duty as wife very seriously. Yang Chen was a man how could he refuse something that a woman had to bring out such a courage to ask.


"Okay, let's take a bath together then," 


Yang Chen agreed, feeling a little bit uncomfortable but just let it be. Yang Chen entered the bath while Xia Qingyue sat on a stool next to the bathtub, pouring warm water over his back. 


She carefully massaged his shoulders and neck, her touch gentle yet firm. Yang Chen couldn't help but relax under her skilled hands, feeling the tension melt away.


Yang Chen felt so relaxed and then he felt that she stopped rubbing his back. Now he felt someone had entered the bath with him.


Xia Qingyue sat on the bath and leaned her slim body against him, her body was so soft and cool against his. 


Yang Chen could feel her steady heartbeat as she nestled closer, creating a sense of intimacy between them.


Yang Chen looked at her and saw that her ears were very red. She must have been feeling shy or embarrassed about sitting so close to him in the bath. Yang Chen couldn't help but feel a surge of affection towards Xia Qingyue, appreciating her willingness to be vulnerable and intimate with him. 


He gently reached out and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.


Xia Qingyue blushed even more, her cheeks turning a shade of pink. It was a small gesture, but it made her heart skip a beat. 


"You don't need to push yourself too hard. We have all the time in the world."


"Yes, But I want to be closer to you. I felt that If I didn't do anything we would drift apart and I would be just a passing moment to you."


She was very sharp. Yang Chen couldn't help but be silent and listen to what she wanted to say.


"You are god. And God lived a very long time. In your long life, you must have met many women who were captivated by your charm and power. I don't want to be just another woman in your life. I want to be the woman in your life." 


Yang Chen's eyes softened as he realized the depth of her issue about abandonment. He understood that her fear of being just another fleeting encounter stemmed from a deep-rooted fear of being abandoned once again. 


Yang Chen felt a surge of empathy and reassured her. 


"I understand your concerns, and I promise you that I won't even leave you. You can trust me in this."


Xia Qingyue nodded. She then looked back at Yang Chen, and then she did something that he didn't think she would do.


She kissed him on the lips. She had leaned on his chest so that she could kiss him deeper. Her buns pressed against his body.


Xia Qingyue's body trembled slightly as she broke away from the kiss, her eyes filled with a mix of vulnerability and desire. 


It was a moment that Yang Chen knew would forever change their relationship, deepening their connection and solidifying his commitment to never leave her side.


He sighed then hugged her.


"You did that, and now you are my woman. From now on, I won't let you go, even if you want to."


Xia Qingyue smiled brightly. This was what she wanted. Kissing him was the right choice, as it sealed their bond to each other as husband and wife.


After the bath, they went to bed and slept together. Of course, no sex, as she was still too young for him. He will wait for her to grow up a little bit, and then they could do anything that any man or woman would do.


They have plenty of time together, so taking things slow and enjoying each other's company would be good for them.

Yang Chen woke up in his original world once again. He was curious even though he didn't need to sleep, but traveling between worlds whenever he slept might be a little bit exhausting for his mentality.


"Well, let's try something next time."


Yang Chen came out of his room after he took a morning shower. He saw that Wang Ma had already made breakfast for him and smiled thankfully at her. As he sat down to eat, Yang Chen couldn't help but ask about Lin Ruoxi. Hopefully, she won't be angry at him anymore for going inside her room without permission.


"Little Miss already went out to work and skipped breakfast again. Young Master, what should we do?"


Yang Chen sighed. Lin Ruoxi was really too much. He thought about something, and he had something to talk about with her.


"I will bring food to her by myself. Can you tell me where her company is?"


Wang Ma was happy to hear that. She then prepared food for Lin Ruoxi and told him where her company was.


Yang Chen shook his head. Lin Ruoxi couldn't behave just like Xia Qingyue. They were similar, but Lin Ruoxi was too stubborn and independent. He admired her determination, but sometimes it made him annoyed. Nonetheless, he couldn't help but admire her strong-willed nature.
