2025-01-22 19:33:24 +0000 UTCMistborn is great. Sanderson is my favorite author by a lot. If you enjoy mistborn I highly recommend starting the stormlight archives. All of his books are set in the same universe called the cosmere, and while each series can be read independently, you can really get the most out of it by reading everything. I would even recommend it to Patrick as a good fantasy universe. While the Magic plays a large role in most of the books, each world has its own Magic system that has a very sci-fi feel to it with hard limits and rules to how it all works.
