The people who made the Borderlands movie are the perfect example of people who don't understand why people like the games. You take the gameplay away, and the humor and writing is not going to go far at all. It's the same kind of thing that all bad video game to movie/TV adaptations fall into.

Played borderlands for years since the beginning and I love them (minus pre sequel) and I couldn't even bring myself to see this movie
