And I saw the first Iron Man movie a couple years after it came out and thought it was a fun time. But I've found the success of these Marvel movies rather baffling. I have zero interest in seeing them myself but I appreciate hearing about them at a remove. Very disappointing to hear about the "wouldn't it be funny if two guys gay?" kind of humor in this most recent movie. I really want to re-watch Seven Samurai now.

The movie has a 95% audience score, the vast majority of people who have seen it don't want to hear you talk shit about it the whole time, especially just recycling the same complaints people have had of Marvel movies for 10 years that are less applicable to this movie than any of the other Marvel movies that have come out in the same period. You guys come off as having way more issue with the fact that other people enjoyed it than anything to do with the movie itself. People who haven't seen it aren't going to listen because you jump into spoilers within 10 minutes. I guess it's for the 5 percent of people who didn't like the movie, but who will also listen to an entire podcast titled around it and about it, and the small group of really diehard fans who are going to listen to anything you put out? I get that you "have" to do one of these a week now, but come on. "This movie sucks, let me tell you about it scene by scene, sighing now and then".
