I would like to start a petition where we force Suraj to watch the bount arc. So for anime and manga differences it's very few, mostly just small scenes to flesh out the character's emotions. The scene where Ichigo is being told to go eat by his family and then him just not reacting to Kon is anime only, and so is a lot of the conversation between Ichigo and Uryu in the Garganta to Hueco Mundo, particularly the more comedic parts. The other big scene that is anime only itwhen Ichigo's friends are in the nurse's office deciding to chase after Ichigo. In the manga they just follow him with no flashback to them deciding to do it. The only real 'major' difference is some censorship when Grimmjow absolutely murdered Luppi. In the anime you only really see the effects of being hit point blank by a Cero from a distance, in the manga it makes it clear that the upper half of Luppi's body is just erased from existence. Since this is an anime and manga difference lite comment I'm going to give something to Suraj, Tite Kubo, in an art book featuring redraws of some of the most iconic color spreads in the manga, drew Tatsuki as a shinigami. I'm going to try and put a link to the picture, but if it doesn't work than can whoever sets up the Sunday Rundown get a picture for him? It is basically required reading for any Tatsuki fan. Can't imagine being in Orihime's position and the person I reach out to NOT being Urahara XD. More seriously as for Yamamoto, what I think people over look is that absolutely no one there has a frame of reference for Orihime as a major asset, so why as a leader would any of you atually make the decision to go after her now (outside of friendship)? Even the decision to call the advance team back makes sense because 1: they haven't proven powerful enough to really make much a difference in an actual attack, and 2 Renji already hinted at going after her himself at least, so why risk losing assets to going rogue on a hero mission? His conclusions are dickheaded, but I think his decisions are sound in this case.

2023-10-25 16:26:55 +0000 UTCI’m so glad you guys are digging ;) Gurren Lagann. I love that you guys are still so curious about that opening scene in space. I feel like that curiosity is what gets people through the first few slow episodes. How the hell did they go from digging tunnels underground to having massive spaceship battles lol? I was actually similar except I saw a clip of the climax and when I saw the ridiculous spectacle, I had to start the show. In this episode you guys also get a clue about the mechanics of the mechas. Simon seems to power Lagann which in turn modifies Gurren when they combine. Lagann is powered by Simon’s mental state/fighting spirit. But Simon is timid and sometimes cowardly, so Kamina has to inspire him. So in this anime screaming=power lol

2023-10-25 15:51:30 +0000 UTCDon't get upset at Rukia for leaving. What was she supposed to do fight Kenny and Byakuya? Also, if you assess the situation, Orihime is not in any immediate danger. Head captain Yamamoto is just pulling his soldiers to prepare for a major upcoming battle. IMO it would be poor leadership to hastily send his subordinates into enemy territory to save someone who appears to have some value to the enemy, evident by the "liberties" the gave her before she turned herself in. Calling her a traitor was a bit harsh though, but Yamamoto usually use harse terms and phrases.
