November Wrap-up

This month we completed 8 pieces! Wow! That's a record since I started doing the wrap-ups! I know I've been a little inconsistent at these things but the goal is to do them on the first of every month.

So what was this month like? 

Well, I think it was relatively solid! The art slave sales continue to be successful, and help me get multiple pieces done early on in the month/fund catching up on owed work. Ultimately, I did not complete as much work as I would have liked, due to having to visit family for about a week, but even so, my output this month was MUCH higher than the previous month, or really any given month over the past year. 

Patreon growth

There's a bunch of you who are new! I put out an advertisement for the patreon and got multiple new members interested in helping me out! While I have goals to grow the patreon even more over 2024, I already feel the effects of the extra money. Thank you so much! I've been a little slow with posting new stuff (like I said, I lost a bunch of time due to family visit). I have a few sketches in the works which should hit the patreon within the next few days for my $5 patreons, which means complete pieces are on their way too! I have no major life/travel obligations, so assuming I can keep up my motivation, this month should be very productive.

The future

I do not intend to take on any additional commissions in December outside of the stream sale. I want to focus hardcore on catching up on work I owe, and I should be fine on funds largely in December. My backlog of owed commissions is very often a "2 steps forward, 1 step back" situation, but the lists shrinks every month! I don't want to be too ambitious, but if I really work my ass off, the list could be cleared as soon as beginning to mid January. What really matters is progress.

As soon as my backlog is complete, I intend to use half my daily workday to work on commission and the other half to work on pay comics. I both want to have shorter paycomics (3-5 pages probably?) the $5 tier receives ever month or 2, and a more traditional 20~ish page comic that I think the $5 tier will also receive as well (Though I'm still figuring out exactly how I want those rewards to work).

Besides that, nothing crazy is scheduled. Just trying to grow my following and patreon. I am almost done posting my backlog on bluesky, which I want to be prepared for public opening. Really, outside of that, just more comics and animations and original stuff w ould be nice to work on! But that all requires me to finish owed stuff. Anyways, that's all!
